Being Included

I learned on how to include people and a time when I included a person.

I Included a person named Ine at school. Me and my friends were finding our little sisters to play camping. When we found them we were in the shade finding rocks and sticks. There was a person named Ine which was helping us. I asked her if she wanted to play and she said no. After a while she was still giving us stick and I told her to play with us since she was lonely all by herself. When I asked her she agreed to play with us for the whole lunch time and the next day.

I enjoyed playing whit Ine. I did well on including her. I need to improve on asking her early when I saw her alone.

 

How to write a Information Report

How to write a information report.

Step 1. Write your title of your topic.

Step 2. Tell the people what you are telling about.

Step 3. Write some information about the main topic.

Step 4. Tell extra information about the text.

These are 4 steps to write an information report. The title, introduction, information, Conclution.

Telling Time

I learnt how to tell the time.

First, we learnt about the 2 different types of clocks. Analog and digital.  A analog clock have two or some times three hands. The big hand is the minute hand, the small hand is the hour hand. If the clock has a extra hand that is very thin then that is the second.

Lasty, we used an online clock to practice reading the time. For example: if the long hand was on the 11 and the small hand was on the 5 it we be 25 minutes past 11.

I enjoyed because I learned how to tell the time so I can use it to . I need to improve on reading the time on my own. I did well on guessing the 2 types of clocks.

 

Kelly Sport

I played obstacle course, infinity tag, and rock paper scissors race.

First for the obstacle course we had to do zig zags through the cone. Then we jumped over the hurdles and did 5 star jumps at the end. Lastly I ran and then skipping rope while running. The coach was timing me. I completed it in 30 seconds

Next we played infinity tags. If we tag a person they sit down but if you tag the person at the same time you play rock paper scissors and the loser sits down. If the person that tagged you got tagged then you get back up.

Lastly we played rock paper scissors race. There were two teams and we had to run all the way to the cone. When you get to the cone you do 5 squats. Then you jump over the hurdles and meet the other team’s person. Then you play rock paper scissors. Whoever wins continues and whoever loses goes to the back of the line.

I enjoyed playing infinity tag. I did well on getting 30 seconds on my obstacle course. I need to improve on getting a better time.

Custom Vehichle Design

I created a custom vehichle  with a submarine and a plane.

First had a cons and pros slide and found cons and pros for the 4 modes of transport. The 4 modes of transport is land, rail, sea, and air. We had 2 of each vehichle for the each mode of transport.

Next we had to create a custom vehichle using the 4 modes of transport. I chose 2 mode of transport which is sea and air. The vehichle that I combined is a plane and a submarine. We chose that because most planes crash in the water so we made a design is when the plane crashes it will turn into a submarine underwater.

I enjoyed making the design, I did well on finding out what mode of transport to combine. I need to inprove on finding the pros and cons.

Comment Thread

I revised how to do commenting thread.

First I learned the 7 thing that you need in a positive comment. There is a Greeting, positive feedback, helpful comment, Thoughtful comment, making connections, and ask a question.

Next we had a 4 comments on my blog with my partner so we could practise comment when we comment on someones blog. My partner commented on my blog. when she finished I replyed to her. We both did it again one more time.

I enjoyed commenting with my partner. I did well on replying. I need to improve on spelling.

Topes

The structure of a narrative is TOPES.

The T stands for Title. The title is the name of the narrative or fairy tale you are writing. For eg: The 3 billy goat gruff.

The O stands for Orientation. The orientation is the first sentence of your fairy tale and story. For eg: There were 3 brothers on the hillside eating grass.

The P stands for Problem. The problem when when they have to do or get to something in a hard way. For eg:They found a bridge to the other side  of the hillside but they heard that there was a troll guarding the bridge to the other side of the hillside.

The E stands for events. The events is when they do something to solve the problem.For eg: The little goat was brave and went on the bridge first. The troll said that you had to have a good reason to pass the bridge. The little goat said that he had a brother much bigger than him. So the troll let the little goat cross the bridge.

The S stands for solution. The solution is to solve the problem. For eg: The big goat came and the troll said give me a good reason why you can cross this bridge. So the big goat got mad and charged at him and he fell off the bridge to never be seen again.

Synthesising

I learnt what synthesising is .

Synthesising is a strategy to help undetstand texts. Synthesising means using your prior knowledge to get new information and new understanding of the text.

The story I did as a group was the 3 billy goat gruff.

I enjoyed this task because I got to learn what synthesising. I need to improve on understanding what synthesising means more. I did well at understanding the story of the 3 billy goat gruff.

Responsible Use

Ia learnt the responsibilities of our netbook.

First we read a slide about our hwo to keep Me, my family, and my chromebook safe.

Nexts we learned the two differences: they were school responsible and responsible use. School responsible is when the school has to pay for something if you treat you chromebook correct but if you don’t then they won’t pay for your extra payment of you chromebook.

Lastly we went into two different groups for a test. When we got in the  two groups we had to send up two people from  each group .Whoever answered the question first  would win a point for their team. The first round was girls Vr boys. Girls lost by 2 points. boys won by 5 points. The last round was jumpers Vrs non jumpers. both was tie by 3.

I enjoyed going against other groups, I need to improve on remembering the kawa of care, I think I did well on remembering some of the kawa of care answers.

 

What is Length

I learned what lenght is.

First we learned what lenght is. Lenght is measuring an object by the longest side of the object you are measuring. For ex: I am measuring a book.  I would find the longest side of the book which is the spine/edge of the book.

Next we learned the different types of way to measure a object or how long it takes to get from a place to place. The different types of measure are milimetres, centimetres, meters, kilometres.

Then I had a google slide and had to measure 6 objects telling the lenght and what type of measure it was. At the last 2 slides we had to measure our own object. In those 2 slides I measured a chromebook and a mask box.

Lastly I made a DLO explaning what is lenght and what are the different types if lenght to measure it.

I enjoyed measuring the objects. I did well on knowing what lenght the object is. I need to improve on knowing how many meters are there in a kilometres.
