Collaborative Art

LI:  To use different types of warm and cool colours to recreate a world-known painting from Van Gogh.

This week’s art is about Van Gogh and his famous art piece “The Starry Night”. The Class was divided into 2 groups of 16 people, 1 of each group remade “The Starry Night” in warm colours and cool colours digitally. Each group divided 16 pieces of the Starry Night with each person in the group. Working as a collaborative team we gathered all or pieces to 1 DLO to finally reach our desired outcome.

I found this activity intresting because we tried to match the colours and see if it fits together.

ANZAC Quatrefoil

I created a Quatrefoil about Anzac.

First I had to draw a quatrefoil about ANZAC. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps.

Next I came up with an idea of a shape and what that shape means. We had to plan our colours, our shape and which order it am going do it.

Lastly I created a quatrefoil that relates to ANZAC. The black x means about the people that was shot and dead. The t means about the peoples grave.

I enjoy this task because I got to make my own symblols of ANZAC day. I need to improve on filling up the space. I did well on choosing the colours.

Quatrefoil

I learned how to make a quatrefoil.

First I learned how to make the shape of the quartrefoil.

Next I came up with a feeling to make the design of quatrefoil of that feeling. My feeling that I choose is angry.

Then I came up with some design that relates with angry.

Lastly I added some other details to fill up the left over space

I enjoyed making the quatrefoil shape and need to improve on making the lines even.
