Basic Facts

I completed a speed demon challenge to multiplucation.

I got all of the answers correct. I got 3 minutes and 50 second.

I enjoyed answering the questions. I need to improve on solving the 6, 7, and 8 times table. Next time I should complete the division one.

Basic Fact Maths

I completed a speed demon challenge up to 20 in addition.

I got 100/100 correct. My time was 5 minutes and 10 seconds.

I enjoyed this activity because I get to improve myself on basic facts. I need to improve on getting the time less than 5 minutes and 10 seconds. Next time I should try a harder level.

Time Difference

I learnt how to tell the differences between the times.

First I had to tell what time is it.

Next I told the difference between two times. For example: 9:56 and 10:59 the time between them is 1 hour and 3 minutes.

Lastly I made a google draw telling the differences between the time.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to tell the time differences. I did well on telling what time is it. I need to improve on telling how many hours and minutes have past.

Basic Facts

We learned about basic fact.

The difference between groups of and group is. There is 36 people and if we want to get into groups of 3 there will be 3 people in a group so 12 groups in total. If you want to get 3 groups then we split it equally into groups of 12 whoch is 1/3.

First we got a times table that was 4, 6, 7, and 8. Times table is a group. We had to show it with counters.

Next we had to write the fact family. These are fact family 8 x 4 = 32, 8 x 4 = 32, 32 ÷ 8 = 4, 32 ÷ 4 = 8. They are all fact family.

Lastly we took a photo of the counters showing groups of.

I enjoyed making the groups of with couters. I did well on writing the fact family. I need to improve on writing any multiplication like this 4 x 5 instead of this 5 x 4 when I am doing the 4 times table.

Fraction

I learned about 3 diferent type if fraction called fraction, Equivalent fraction and Improper fractions.

First I wrote the fraction. That task is to match the fraction to the right picture.

Next I wrote the the equivalent fraction. The task was to match the fraction with the right picture. I also had to move the fraction to the correct group, for eg 1/2 is 1/3 .

Then I worte the Improper fraction. For improper fraction I had to draw a picture, write it with numbers, and write the answer with a sentence. For eg Billy Bob had ½ a piece of cake. Meghan had 2 ½ cakes. Emily had 1 ½  cakes. How much cake did they have altogether? How much cake do they have? The answer is 4 1/2 because 1/2 + 2 1/2 + 1 1/2 = 4 1/2.

I enjoyed the improper fractions. I did well on matching the equvilant fraction. I need to improve on writing the answer for improper fraction.

Fraction

I learned fractions.

First we got into groups of 2 and 2 groups.

Next we made a google slide and showed what a fraction was. We also made a drawing to show what is a fraction.

Lastly I had to explain what groups of 2 and 2 groups mean.

I enjoyed making the drawing. I did well on showing what a fraction was. I need to improve on the diffrents between 2 groups and groups of 2.

Number Bonds

I practised number bonds up to 10s, 100s, and 1000.

First I played this game called around the world 10 – 1000. For example if the person says 300 + 700 and you have to answer the the question untill someone goes and beat everyone in the circle.

Next I got some cubes and represent the number bonds out of 10 – 1000 and took pictures of them.

Lastly I made 3 google draws and putted all of the pictures in the google draw of 10s, 100s, and 100s.

I enjoyed taking the pictures.

I did well on up to 100 number bonds.

I need to improve on number bonds up to 1000.

Number sequence

I learned about number sequence.

First I opened up the number generator and set  the number up to 1000.

Next I press the button and showed a random number 100 – 10000. For example when I press the button the number that appeared is 3067

Then I worte the number before and after. For example the number before 3067 is 3066 and the number after is 3068.

Lastly I filmed a video saying before and after of that number repeting 5 times with different numbers.

I think I liked this activity because it helped me learn how to count before and after.
